Senior High Fundraisers
(Money raised through the following events can be applied toward the Sr. High Summer Trip or Camp Wapo)
Happenings Books Fundraiser
Who: Senior High Students
What: A fundraiser where students sell Happenings coupon books for $30 in order to raise money for summer trip.
When: Students will be able to check-out books at church September 20th and 27th in the atrium. After that, students will be able to check them out at Current Wednesday nights. The fundraiser will run until November 18th, at which point we will be collecting un-sold books and money.
How Does it work?: Students will check-out a certain number of
books for sale from Jason Kramme (the Sr. High intern) either at church
or Current. Each student will be responsible for selling each book for
$30 or returning them to Jason--in stellar condition.
Bake Sales
Who: Junior/Senior High Students
What: Both bake sales have themes (November's theme is fall baked
goods, while the December bake sale will focus on Christmas treats).
When: The bake sales take place in the Calvary Atrium on Sunday
mornings, November 22 and December 13 from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 a.m.
How Does it Work?: The week prior to each bake sale, students will
receive a pricing guide to help them price their baked goods. Included
in the pricing guide will be stickers to put on the goods and a sheet
where students can record sales. The day of the sale, students will
bring their pre-priced treats to set up on a designated table in the
atrium. We ask each student have a volunteer to help them stock/keep
track of their area for the duration of the sale. We do this because
things get hectic with all the people browsing and buying. People will
pay a cashier at the check out area. At the end of the bake sale,
students will hand in their sale sheets so that we can divide money
into the corresponding fundraising accounts.
Butter Braids
Who: Junior/Senior High Students
What: A baked goods and pastry fundraiser
How it works: Students will sell baked goods and pastries from the Butter Braid order forms. Students will then turn in order forms by NOVEMBER 15! Students will pick up goods for distribution on DECEMBER 2! Students will recieve a percentage of the goods they sell.
