2009-2010 Wednesday Current Preview 

Wednesday Current meets weekly at 6:30 p.m. in the balcony of the sanctuary (beginning September 23). We gather together to worship God, learn from the Bible, converse about what it means to live out our faith and our questions in the real world. 

Wednesday Current is open to anyone grades 10-12 and is a community of people with real questions, authentic struggles, genuine faith and a growing desire to change the world for the sake of God's kingdom.

	During our first series, we will discuss the character of our creator, how God created everything, what it means to be made in God's image...we'll even talk about sex! So don't miss Enter Scene: Everything.
	Sometimes common church experiences like communion and baptism can get pretty routine. What's really going on when we take the bread and wine, or when babies (or adults) are covered over by the waters of baptism?
	From the beginning of the Bible, the central character is Jesus. In Crescendo, we'll explore how the prophesies in the Old Testament, His coming as human, and his death and resurrection impact our lives today.
	In the Bible, it's clear that the Church is not about bricks and pews, but about people--people who are brought together by God's Holy Spirit. In this series, we'll talk about what it means to be the Church, the people of God.
