2. What should I do if I have some basic questions about Christianity?
Calvary has several programs that can help you deepen your faith and understanding of Christianity. One such program is the Alpha course, which answers some basic questions about Christianity and is held several times a year at Calvary.

3. Where is Calvary located?

5. When and where are Calvary’s worship services?
Calvary’s worship schedule features six weekly services:

Thursday evening – 6:30 p.m.* in the Chapel (with dinner beginning at 5:30 p.m.)
Sunday morning – 8 a.m., 8:45 a.m., 10 a.m.* and 11:15 a.m.* in the Sanctuary, 
   11:15 a.m. Spanish service in the Chapel
Sunday evening – 6:30 p.m. Journey in the Sanctuary

* A few of our services move outdoors in the summer! Join us in Calvary Park on the church's north side.

During the school year, Calvary also offers Wednesday Night Live, a weekly worship opportunity geared just for high school students.

6. Does Calvary offer different worship styles?

7. Where should I park on Sunday mornings?
You’re welcome to park in Calvary’s main lots. In addition, on Sunday mornings, there is quick, easy and free shuttle service between several business parking lots immediately south and Calvary’s front entrance. See parking map>>

8. Does Calvary offer childcare during worship services?
Calvary’s nursery serves families with young children (infant up to age 5) on Sunday mornings during the 8:45 a.m., 10:00 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. services, as well as on Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m.

9. What are Calvary’s mission and values?
The mission of Calvary Lutheran Church is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We live out this mission by ascribing to five core values and growing in those values through seven spiritual steps.

Grace Place, Calvary’s Sunday School program, serves children age 2-1/2 to sixth grade. Grace Place is held September through May on Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday mornings at 8:45 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Sign up for Grace Place>>

13. Does Calvary have any special programs for teenagers?
712 Student Ministries serves youth in grades seven to 12. 712 features a weekly worship service geared just for teens, a confirmation program, summer trips, camp experiences and much more. Learn about 712>>

14. Does Calvary have any special programs for married couples?
Calvary not only offers a marriage preparation program for new couples, but also a marriage enrichment program for couples at any stage in marriage. In addition, Duo is a social ministry that connects young couples to other couples, the broader congregation, community-service opportunities and Jesus Christ.

15. What does Calvary offer for adult education?
Adult education can help you grow in faith and meet others who share your questions. Calvary offers Sunday morning classes, as well as weekday and evening classes, that will help you take the next step on your faith journey.

16. Does Calvary offer any health and caring programs?
Calvary believes that God wants all of us to experience wholeness in body, mind and spirit. With that end in mind, Calvary’s Health & Caring ministries offers a wide range of services, including parish nursing, wellness programs, support groups and special ministries for those living with disabilities or suffering from illness.

17. How is Calvary involved with mission and outreach?
Calvary not only provides seed money for a wide variety of mission and outreach programs, but also seeks to engage people in service opportunities both locally and internationally.

Calvary supports global mission partners such as Feed My Starving Children and Lutheran World Relief and local mission partners such as Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity and Kinship of Greater Minneapolis; responds to the needs of the poor; sponsors missionaries; and hosts numerous worldwide mission trips and local service opportunities.

18. How can I get involved with music at Calvary?
Calvary offers many opportunities for people to share their musical talents during worship services. There is a worship team, as well as several choirs and instrumental ensembles for both youth and adults. In addition to participating in Sunday worship services, musical groups sometimes present special concerts and perform on holidays. Learn more about music>>

19. How can I give a contribution to Calvary?
God calls us to use our time, talent and treasure in service and worship of Him. If you’d like to make a financial gift to Calvary, we offer numerous avenues for giving: one-time contributions, automatic bank transfers, online giving, stock gifts and endowment funds.

20. Does Calvary offer any weekday early childhood programs?
Calvary offers three certified and licensed weekday early childhood programs: hourly childcare, daily childcare and pre-Kindergarten. All three programs focus on growing children intellectually, emotionally, physically and spiritually.

21. What about weddings at Calvary?
Calvary can help you make Christ the center of your wedding day—from the worship service to special music to a reception. In addition, we offer marriage programs to support you in your life as husband and wife. To be wed at Calvary, either the bride or groom must be a member.
